Arrival and Departure Times

Check in Time: 2 P.M. is the standard check in time. However, if the cottage has been vacant the night before, anytime after 10 A.M., provided arrangements have been made prior.

Check out Time: 10 A.M. is the standard check out time. However, if there is no incoming guest, a later time maybe be arranged, provided it is made prior to the checkout day.

Smoking

Sojourn Cottage has a no smoking policy.

Pets

Sorry, no pets are allowed to stay.

Reservation Confirmation

• Short Term: 50% of the total accommodation cost will confirm your booking. Any balance to cover the full cost of your stay must be paid before the start of your intended stay.
• Long Term: This is done on an individual basis depending on length of stay. You will be billed weekly or monthly in advance, depending on length of your stay and / or your preference.

Cancellation Policy

Short Term: 

• When a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the intended date of stay, 50% of the total accommodation cost is payable.

• If a reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of the intended date of stay, the full accommodation cost for the reserved stay is payable.

• If a guest cancels part of their booking at or after the start of their stay, the total accommodation cost for the dates booked is payable.

• When a guest does not show up for a booking without giving any notice the total accommodation cost for the dates booked is payable.

Long Term: This will be settled on an individual basis when the long term stay deposit is made. A written contract will be drawn up between the guest and proprietor before the deposit is made.

Personal Cheque:
If you would like to pay by cheque it must be from a New Zealand Bank ONLY.  The full cost of your stay must be cleared by the bank before your stay begins.
